    Real Estate Agents are independent contractors. That means we are also Small Businesses. Never lose sight that you are running your own business – whether inside a team, as an independent inside a brokerage, or running your own team. Make a business plan and a budget and stick to it!

  • Communication

    Communication is key. With your clients, peers and brokerage, communication can’t be overstated. Remember, part of communication is “Listening.” If you are the one doing all the talking, you’ll never find out what others need and want from you and your service.

  • Activities

    What you do determines your pipeline. Gone are the days of sitting around and waiting for clients to find you. In this day and age of easily found information and lots of choices for an agent, you have to be proactive in finding and connecting with people.

  • Growth

    The world is always changing. Change with it or be left behind. Learning, keeping informed about the real estate industry and your own local market & new technology will set you up for continued growth throughout your career!
